We’re just getting started out here but thought we would give you a bit of insight as to what we’re all about here at Footy High and what you can expect to see happen over the course of the 2010 AFL footy season and (hopefully) beyond.

AFL Tipping Comp

We’ve got a footy tipping competition which you can sign up for now. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the year – we’re not sure what they’ll be just yet but they’ll most likely be cash prizes. It’s free to join too so don’t be a dropkick – join our AFL tipping comp right now!

AFL Dream Team

Our AFL Dream Team page will give you all the great dream team resources we can find on the net. We’ll also show you how we’re doing and give you some tips. Matty P our regional Dream Team expert who’s won the last 6 years in a row (or something ridiculous like that) will be giving you the greatest advice he can give to make sure you beat all your mates this year.

$100 AFL Betting Challenge

Probably our most prestigious part of the site (ok we’re labeling that ourselves) will be the $100 AFL Betting Challenge. The idea is each of us start with $100 at sportingbet.com.au and see who can make the most money by the end of the 2010 season. The rules are simple: You can’t bet on anything other than AFL related events and once you have no more money in your account, that’s it! No more rebuys. Money management and strong tipping skills will be key to this event.

Footy Opinions

We’re passionate AFL supporters so we’ve got passionate opinions. Our AFL opinions and predictions will be shown for everyone to see so we can look back in triumph or embarrassment when the season ends. Who will win the premiership? The brownlow? Top 8? Top 4? All these will be covered in AFL Opinions.

Social Media has hit the web and society big time. I’m sure you’ve heard of twitter and facebook. This section will contain a big list of where you can find your favourite clubs and players that are participating around the social media world. Their twitter and facebook accounts will be listed. Sick and tired of not knowing when the footy on? We’re compiling a big list of when the AFL is on TV. This doesn’t just mean when footy matches are on, we’re talking live games, match replays, all the footy shows and more. If something is on TV related to footy we’ll have it listed.
